The trip was amazing and I learned so many valuable strategies for using technology to transform learning. I was honored to be invited to present a lecture on instructional design for integration of interactive technology for teaching and learning to students in the College of Education at Huston-Tillotson University. It was an inspirational experience and the students and staff were very excited with the results.

For one week, we scoured the mountains with GPS devices searching for signs of bears and plotting them to be added to an interactive GIS map. The Colorado Division of Wildlife used that map to make decisions that saved the lives of countless bears that would have otherwise wondered into town and caused damage.
